Here are 2 used carbs we recently acquired in a huge lot of Model A & T parts. One of them is a Kingston Model L and it has a tag on it that says so. The other has no tag and I can't find anything on it, but it also looks like another Kingston. These are being sold as parts or for a restoration project because I don't know if either of them is complete and maybe you can make one good one out of the two. Both are dirty, but don't appear to be damaged. The one without the tag has a long piece sticking out of the top of it where the one with the tag has a block off bolt there. The bowls were loose on both so I removed the bolt to take pictures and you can see the one without the tag has what I assume is the float where the other one is missing that piece. Both of the bowls have light rust inside them and should be sanded. These would be great parts if you rebuild this type of carb!  Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States. Int'l extra. Good luck!!

McLaren P1 performance figures confirmed

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

McLaren has confirmed performance statistics for its new P1 hybrid hypercar – and the official numbers are frankly amazing. We always knew the 2013 McLaren P1 was quick, but 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds, 0-124mph in 6.8 seconds, 0-186mph in 16.5 seconds and a 217mph top speed prove its astonishing pace. And it’ll return exceptional efficiency (given the performance) of 34.0mpg combined with 194g/km CO2.

Saab deal with China not valid says Pangda Chairman Update 10 am 12/10/11: Saab & Pangda have issued a statement about this story and say that the reports of the Saab deal with Pangda and Youngman as being no longer valid are “…based on a misunderstanding”. Whatever that means. Yesterday there was yet more speculation that Saab will be declared bankrupt as real doubt about the deal with Chinese companies Pangda and Youngman started to surface.
