Model T Vintage Stewart & Clark Mfg. Speedometer Ratrod Hotrod on 2040-parts.com
Springfield, Missouri, US
We recently acquired a large trailer load of classic car and hot rod parts from a lifetime collector and this group of parts was in that batch. These were all in a shoebox that just said Model T speedometer parts. You get the Stewart speedometer that was made by Stewart & Clark MFG. Company. You also get a small gear, and a silver colored fitting, and a black colored fitting. The speedometer doesn't look to be in bad condition, but it is not perfect either. The glass face looks to have lots of scratches on it. The bottom part with the numbers still moves both directions when you move the speedometer around, so it doesn't appear to be frozen up. The outside housing is dirty and missing some paint, so you will need to paint it. It has a large knob and a smaller knob on one side, but nothing on the back. The little gear looks good as does the silver colored fitting. The black colored fitting has a lot of cracks in it and it is probably junk, but I didn't know if someone out there maybe can use it and I hated to just toss it out, so it is included. Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States. Int'l extra. Good luck!!

Jaguar F-Type: Comparable to the Aston Martin Vantage?
Sat, 06 Oct 2012Should we be thinking of the new Jaguar F-Type as a bargain alternative to an Aston Martin V8 & V12 Vantage rather than a pricey Porsche Cayman? With a starting point of £58.5k for the F-Type with the 340PS V6 Supercharged engine, rising to £80k for the F-Type V8 S, we thought prices were strong. But actually, after a week of cogitation and argument at Cars UK Towers, we wonder if they’re actually something of a bargain?
Hennessey opens up the LS9-powered Camaro
Wed, 06 Oct 2010Hennessey Performance is introducing a convertible version of its limited-edition 2011 HPE700 Camaro. The tuning company will produce just 24 copies of the 2011 HPE700 Camaro, but it hasn't revealed how many will be hardtops or convertibles. “We have already sold several of our 2011 HPE700s in hardtop form, increasing the potential for the convertible LS9 Camaro to become an even rarer option than before,” said John Hennessey, president of Hennessey Performance.
Aston Martin at the Paris motor show 2008
Fri, 03 Oct 2008By Ben Barry Motor Shows 03 October 2008 10:13 The buzz around Aston Martin continues. The now independent brand is teasing motor show visitors with a styling buck of the One-77 (the ultra-exclusive £1.2 million supercar that’ll be limited to a run of, yep, 77 when it arrives in 2009) that reveals just its front right and rear left aspects, plus there’s an automatic DBS on display and talk of exciting future Aston Martin projects. James Bond’s favourite Aston now comes with Touchtronic – a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox that’s borrowed from the DB9 but substantially beefed up.
