Formed-in-Place Gasket is a black RTV silicone rubber

This tube is used to seal oil pans , timing covers , water pumps , camshaft housings and valve covers, engine head, fuel pump, thermostat housing, oil pump, and intake manifold.

Can be used to seal other engine components.

RTV103 is a one-part, also called one-component, black RTV silicone sealant with a paste consistency for indoor and outdoor applications, such as bonding, sealing gaps or cracks up to 1/4" wide, and use with electrical insulation and formed-in-place gaskets. The paste consistency allows for application on vertical or overhead surfaces. This sealant meets United States Military Specification MIL-A-46106 and NSF International Standard 51, is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 177.2600 compliant, is United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) compliant, and has UL recognized components.
