Momo Horn Button –
Gianpiero Moretti Race Helmet
One day back in 1964, John Surtees had a new steering wheel put in his Ferrari 158 F1 car, and the automotive world was forever changed. Surtees fell in love with this new steering wheel, he went on to win the World Driver’s championship, and Momo steering wheels soon became standard equipment on all Ferraris – thanks to Gianpiero Moretti. While he didn’t win any World Championships, “Mr. Momo” was arguably the very last of the true “gentleman racers”. His company's steering wheels are still among the most beloved and sought after in all the world.
Up for sale is a Momo steering wheel horn button featuring the racing helmet of Mr. Moretti. These are extremely rare and impossible to find any more. Do NOT pass up this opportunity, as you may never see one again, and this is my ONLY one. I purchased it back in 1991 when I bought my first Momo wheel.

Fri, 31 Aug 2007By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 31 August 2007 12:08 About time the C-class Estate turned up… It is, and while the new C-class saloon has only been around for six months, it’s so good that the old outgoing estate that's been soldiering on has suddenly been left feeling very long in the tooth. Merc has responded - and today presents the new estate. It’ll be shown in the metal at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show and then go on sale in the UK in summer 2008.
Freeman Thomas: “it's easier to create your own rocket than create your own car”
Thu, 08 May 2014The Industrial Designers Society of America's ‘Designing Innovation' panel discussion took place in San Francisco yesterday. The event was sponsored by Ford, with strategic design director, Freeman Thomas taking a place on the panel. Having parked a C-MAX Energi and new F-150 in the venue, Ford's influence weighed rather heavily, particularly in the early moments.
Nissan Juke Nismo to debut at Le Mans
Wed, 13 Jun 2012It's no Juke-R, but the more reasonable Nissan Juke Nismo will make its world debut at Le Mans this weekend. It seems only fitting, considering Nissan is providing power for a quarter of the field at the famous race. The Juke will get an enhanced version of the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine as well as some body and suspension work.
