It forecasts a 27% drop in 911, Boxster, Cayman and Cayenne sales to around 34,000 units in the six months to the end of January 2009 (Financial Times, subscription required)• Ford wants Washington to do more to stimulate car sales, after posting a record loss of nearly $14.6 billion earlier this week (Detroit News)• Honda's quarterly profit has crashed by 90% – forcing the Japanese car maker to halve its annual profit target (Detroit Free Press)Thursday 29 January 2009• Ford of Europe is a bright spot in the Blue Oval's quarterly results today, making $1.06 billion pre-tax profit in 2008 (up from $997m in 2007). CDN-GM Interactive Design Contest 2013 winners announced
Tue, 14 Jan 2014In early December, the finalist entries from the CDN/GM Interactive Design Competition were put in front of the panel of judges from General Motors and Car Design News to determine the four winners of this year's internships with GM. This year, once again, the level of work was exceptional and made for a very difficult selection. We also saw the largest number of participants and entries ever, raising the stakes of an already highly competitive field.
Bentley EXP 9 F SUV – new photos & video
Fri, 06 Jul 2012Following an appearance at Goodwood, Bentley has released new photos and video of the EXP 9 F SUV as its PR salvo continues. Bentley EXP 9 F – the Bentley SUV to be that might be more loved if Bentley gave it a real name – made a static appearance at last weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, following which Bentley has released some new photos and a new video to put their monster SUV back in the news. We did catch sight of the Bentley SUV at Goodwood – although it wasn’t especially high profile as it wasn’t blatting up the hillclimb, unlike Bentley’s other offerings from the new Continental GT Speed to the Bentley Blower – and it looked much the same as it did at Geneva.
