However, thanks to CAR’s previous spy shots story, we can dive beneath the veil and reveal a little more about the new family crossover. Taking cues from the Resonance SUV concept first shown at the 2013 Detroit motor show, the new Qashqai wears a sharper suit than the outgoing car, employing a bold front grille which frames its Nissan badge in a prominent chromed U-shape signature.
Toyota announces prices of the Prius V and Prius Plug-in hybrid
Fri, 16 Sep 2011Toyota announced pricing of the new Prius V and Prius Plug-in on Friday. The new compact V wagon will carry an MSRP of $27,160, while the plug-in hybrid stickers at $32,760. Both include $760 in destination and handling, but only the plug-in is expected to qualify for the $2,500 government tax credit.
Police Tape app can document traffic stops
Thu, 05 Jul 2012In a video that looks like something cooked up by elementary-school students, the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey touts its new, free smartphone app called Police Tape. The application allows users to review their rights on the spot and to record both video and audio when stopped by police. Once recorded, files can automatically be uploaded to external servers, where they are retained and examined by the ACLU for possible civil liberties violations.
