It also served up some quality crumpet (more of which later)… So what’s new on Mini’s London motor show stand?The ultimate Mini – the John Cooper Works version – went on sale on press day of the London motor show, offering 208bhp, 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds, a 148 mph top speed and a cool body kit. Mon, 08 Aug 20112012 Porsche 911 undisguised - bar the lights It’s quite hard to find anything new to report about the 2012 Porsche 911 – at least on how it looks – when Porsche themselves release ‘spy’ video of the new 911. But this 911 video shows more. A sharp-eyed – and well-prepared – Porsche fan spotted the brown (Topaz Brown Metallic by the look – trendy colour) 911 at a petrol station in Suttgart and managed to grab some half-decent footage.
Porsche Panamera designer focused on rear-seat passengers
Mon, 06 Apr 2009There's no mistaking it for anything but a Porsche, but with four doors and four full seats, the Panamera is like no previous Porsche. Styled by a team of in-house designers under the direction of Michael Mauer, the Panamera is 195.7 inches long, 76.0 inches wide and 55.8 inches tall--making it slightly shorter but wider and lower than the Maserati Quattroporte, with which it shares a coupelike profile. As with all such silhouettes, "the real challenge is giving the rear-seat passengers enough headroom," says Mauer.
