FACTORY STEREO !!

Factory Monsoon Electronics radio out of a 2000 Pontiac Trans AM  or Firebird with CD-AM-FM Stereo designed for the premium Monsoon sound system.  It features the 7 Band Equalizer and also has a connector on the back for the remote tape player option.

Model # 09380122 radio and CD in great working condition.  Illumination bulbs are new.

It looks great cosmetically as well.

Added Feature:

It has an AUX mini 3.5 mm stereo input jack added to the front right side. No need to drill or mount an external jack!  When you plug in your MP3 player, Zune, IPOD or AUX audio, it will cut out the signal of the radio and take your MP3 player or other source in direct to the preamplifier section. The EQ and audio control will work normally. This is far superior to using those junky FM transmitters where hiss noise and interference is a problem.  MP3 player pictured is not included but I will  include the 3.5 MM cable to connect your MP3 player or other source.

The Theftlock is not activated at this time but you can set a personal code if you want after installation.

This should fit the following withe the Monsoon system:

BONNEVILLE 96
BONNEVILLE 97-99
FIREBIRD 96-02
GRAND AM 96-98
GRAND PRIX 96-97
GRAND PRIX 98-03
SUNFIRE 96-97
SUNFIRE 98-99
Others

But check your owner manual or dealer to see if it will fit your vehicle. Please see the connector of the unit and compare with your radio.

Bring a Trailer: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Wed, 01 Jun 2011

Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. The car is now available in Monterey, Calif., for $23,500, so visit Bring a Trailer to get in touch with the seller and to view a lot more photos.

Volvo could be heading East

Mon, 08 Dec 2008

Actually, it could be going absolutely anywhere a bid can be found. As we reported last week, Ford is trying desperately to unload its last remaining prestige marque – Volvo. And, as we thought, the disposal of Volvo by Ford is said to be a condition of the help that Ford, along with the other main US car makers, is begging from the US government.

New Jaguar XFR-S burns up the Goodwood hillclimb (video)

Sat, 23 Mar 2013

The new Jaguar XFR-S – the most powerful XF to date – has just launched and we have video of the XFR-S on the Goodwood Hillclimb. With an even more aggressive look than the XFR, the XFR-S gets 542bhp and 502lb/ft of torque, enough to move Jaguar’s appealing super saloon to 62mph in just 4.4 seconds. Until now all we’ve had are the XFR-S photos Jaguar delivered (together with a dynamic video too), but with this week seeing Goodwood starting the push for this year’s Festival of Speed with a press day, we have the XFR-S out playing on the hillclimb, and Shmee 150 managed to capture Jaguar’s new cat playing.
