Here is a complete lower unit assembly that came off of a 1958 Montgomery Ward 5hp Seaking model GG8977A serial 85X716191.  The lower unit has some typical wear, mainly on the prop, but overall it's in really good condition for its age.  The gearcase oil has been drained and the oil looked good.  The unit is nice and clean and has a brand new water pump.  The drive shaft is a short shaft and has four splines.  The four mounting bolts are included.
