Mon, 16 Aug 2010The Bentley Continental GTC Speed 80-11 We went through the marketing reasons a week or two ago when Bentley revealed their Flying Spurs for the Middle East, the Continental Flying Spur Arabia and Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia, and before that we had the Bentley Continental Design Series for China. It’s all about keeping the customer happy and making them feel special. And this time it’s the turn of the United States of America to get a feelgood car made just for them.
The cars were stars at the Television/Motion Picture Car Club's first show
Thu, 11 Mar 2010When we first heard about this show, we figured it would be all famous cars from famous movies: the real Bullitt Mustang, the real Herbie, the real pod racer from Star Wars. While there were some actual movie cars at the first show of the newly minted Television/Motion Picture Car Club--including the Charger from Fast & Furious and a real Dukes of Hazzard General Lee--the majority of the wheels were tribute cars made by fans who happened to work in the movie industry. The only Star Wars car was a converted Honda Civic Del Sol with a stuffed green Yoda riding shotgun.
Ford shows Edge Concept
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Ford took the wraps of the Edge Concept at the LA Auto Show, and the company says the crossover offers strong hints at the next-generation production Edge. The big news is a sleeker shape, front and rear LED lights, better fuel economy and technology that includes self parking and obstacle avoidance. The self parking is a prototype technology using sensors that allow the Edge to be parked at the touch of a button, or remotely.
