2012 BMW 1-Series - now from BMW When we reported that the 2012 BMW 1 Series had leaked out yesterday, we did say it wouldn’t take long for BMW to release details officially, especially as there were so many official photos of the 2012 1-Series. In the end it took all of 24 hours for BMW to get it together and send us details, which lets us fill in the gaps from yesterday on detail, although there’s really nothing new on the photo front. We know from yesterday that the 2012 BMW 1-Series is bigger than the outgoing car, and that the styling, particularly on the nose, is a more confident statement than before.

The Acura MDX Prototype has made its world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Providing a glimpse of the design direction for the third generation of the performance luxury SUV, the MDX Prototype was designed under the theme of ‘Aero Sculpture' and has low, wide proportions on a longer wheelbase. The signature Acura Jewel Eye LED headlights feature while the arcing roofline is 38.1mm lower than the outgoing model.

Chevrolet Colorado pickup concept revealed

Chevrolet's next-generation midsize pickup is a bit larger, with just a hint of the departed Avalanche, based on a concept truck revealed on Monday ahead of its debut at the Bangkok motor show. The new Chevy Colorado goes on sale in Thailand later this year, so the concept is right-hand drive. But the development program is for a global vehicle, so we're likely to see many elements from the Thailand truck show up on the U.S.
