Mon, 29 Aug 2011Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-slung MPV Don’t look at the Peugeot HX1 Concept and think you’ll be walking in to your local Peugeot showroom next year and driving off in one, because you won’t. The HX1 is a showcase for where Peugeot sees the brand going in terms of “…architecture, aerodynamics, modularity, equipment, interior materials, the environment and powerplants.” Just like so many concepts from Peugeot of late – the funky HR1 Concept and the almost Aston Martin-esque SR1 spring to mind – the HRX1 is a crackingly good-looking car. A bit like a Mercedes R-Class with a proper injection of Gallic style and flair.
SsangYong releases new Rodius sketches
Thu, 07 Feb 2013SsangYong has released the first images of its new Rodius MPV, soon to be unveiled at next month's Geneva motor show. Based on SsangYong's ‘Robust, Premium, Specialty' design philosophy the carmaker says the new Rodius is "styled to be fit for outdoor, off-road driving as well as on-road driving". The front three-quarter sketch shows that the exaggerated, streamlined front grille has been retained – albeit it with a slight modification – while it also features angular headlamps.
World's oldest Bentley and Steve McQueen motorcycle for auction at Pebble Beach
Wed, 15 Jun 2011The world's oldest Bentley and a Brough Superior motorcycle once owned by Steve McQueen are joining the Gooding & Co. lineup at Pebble Beach this August. The 1921 Chassis 3 was the first customer car to leave the Bentley factory.
