Kia Ray Concept at Chicago Motor Show
Thu, 21 Jan 2010Kia wil preview the Kia Ray Concept plug-in hybrid at the Chicago Motor Show next month Yes, the Detroit Motor Show is only just about done, but waiting in the wings is the rather less fancy Chicago Motor Show (although they probably won’t thank us for describing it as such). Scrappage: US to get Cash for Clunkers
Wed, 10 Jun 2009The US is to get their own Scrappage Scheme - Cash for Clunkers So even though our Scrappage Scheme is pretty flawed, it may well be having an impact – at least until the relatively modest amount set-aside for the scheme by the Government is exhausted. And now it’s the turn of the US to launch a Scrappage Schem – Cash for Clunkers. Cash for Clunkers legislation was passed yesterday in the US to try and kick-start US car sales, and give a boost to beleaguered car makers like GM and Chrysler.
Volvo S60 Long Wheelbase (S60L) goes in to production
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Volvo S60 Long Wheelbase (S60L) goes in to production Volvo certainly seems to be on the up at the moment, with new cars like the new V40 challenging established premium compacts and a complete new engine range in the offing. That is, to a great degree, down to the ownership of Volvo by China’s Geely after a period of stagnation under Ford, and now the Chinese ownership is starting to make strides in China. Chinese sales for Volvo are growing, and that’s going to be helped by a new long wheelbase version of the S60, built for the Chinese market in China and due to debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show later this month.
