Jay Leno does Top Gear w/video
Fri, 10 Jul 2009Jay Leno – petrol-head extraordinaire – is this weeks’ Top Gear Star in a Reasonably Priced Car Jay Leno, probably best known for his US chat show (retrd.) – and his hosting of the launch of the new Jaguar XJ – is the personification of the wealthy, true petrol-head. Jaguar XJR returns – 542bhp XJ to debut at New York Auto Show
Wed, 20 Mar 2013A new generation Jaguar XJR is being launched at the New York Auto Show later this month, signalling the return of the range-topping XJ with 542bhp. We’ve been heralding the arrival of an all new Jaguar XJR for four years and now, finally Jaguar is about to deliver with a new XJR sporting Jaguar’s 542bhp version of the supercharged V8 under the bonnet. Jaguar are being a bit precious with the full details of the new XJR, but they’re calling the new XJR the ‘Dynamic Flagship‘ of the Jaguar range – which is promising when you consider how fluid and able the XJ already is.
Suzuki Cervo
Thu, 09 Nov 2006Suzuki is a relatively low-key brand without the variety of models nor media exposure afforded by rivals, so it might be surprising to learn that over the past fifty years they have not had an annual loss, while their growth rate in Europe since 2000 is on a par with Toyota's. With sales figures now snapping at the heels of Renault, Suzuki has just launched the Cervo, a new car for the K-class segment in Japan. The Suzuki Cervo follows the popular Grand Vitara and award-winning Swift, and has also been dubbed stylish and sporty.
