2012 Mini Cooper S Coupe review notes
Tue, 09 Oct 2012EXECUTIVE EDITOR BOB GRITZINGER: Just when all the auto pundits thought the big-honkin' all-wheel-drive full-size (at least for Mini) Countryman was the first sign of Mini's impending demise, along comes the apocalypse, otherwise known as the Cooper Coupe. The Concept G4 compact sedan is shown in only one sketch, meaning we have few details, but we can see it features Mitsubishi's latest design language first seen on the CA-MiEV in Geneva, for example the headlamps, rear lamps, vertical fog lamp bezels and grille. Mitsubishi claims that the concept's short nose will help with visibility and maneuverability, while the interior will allegedly be among the roomiest in its class.
Ford Mustang Boss 302 gets track mode
Thu, 11 Nov 2010Getting the upcoming 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 ready for track duty can be as simple as using the correct key. Ford on Thursday said it will offer a TracKey option for the Mustang Boss 302, which goes on sale next spring. Starting the car with the red-colored TracKey prompts the powertrain control module to a separate, more-aggressive set of software--changing more than 200 settings from street mode.
