Some of the rings may have a spec of surface rust as these are Cast Iron and sprung steel, they will clean up nicely. Most have already been cleaned and inspected if cleaning was necessary. These parts are about impossible to find and would help get that old American Iron up and running. For restorations, barn finds and future projects”

Ford and Geely agree on Volvo sale, could finalize deal in early 2010

Ford expects to sign a deal to sell its Volvo car unit to China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group by the first quarter of 2010 and close the deal in the second quarter, the U.S. automaker announced today. Ford said that all of the deal's key commercial terms have been settled.

Mitsubishi is working on a green overhaul of its turbocharged all-wheel-drive Lancer Evolution so the gas-guzzling sedan won't go extinct. The new vision for the performance car is an gasoline-electric hybrid with in-wheel motors, Mitsubishi Motors Corp. President Osamu Masuko says.

First photo of the Jaguar XE Jaguar has revealed this morning that its new smaller Saloon will be the Jaguar XE, and that its new range of engines will be the Ingenium. Beyond that, we don’t get a lot more than we already know. Heading for an arrival in 2015, the Jaguar XE (we always doubted the commonly accepted Jaguar XS moniker) will be the first car in its segment to have an aluminium monocoque and, say Jaguar, is set to be the most advanced and efficient sports saloon in its sector and will be the first production Jaguar using the new aluminium architecture used for the Jaguar C-X17 SUV Concept.
