This mooring pendant pennant is made from Samson dual braid high tenacity nylon #474.  Excellent strength combined with elongation/elasticity properties for energy absorbtion and shock mitigation.

  • Tensile strength: 30,000 lbs
  • End-1 finish: Heavy duty galvanized thimble, lock stitched 2 axis, whipped
  • End-2 finish: 12" soft eye splice, lock stitched 2 axis. .

This is fine top quality rope, not some unknown stuff from some off-shore mystery source.  You should know where your rope comes from ...

Other sizes, lengths, rope types and end finishes are available. I can make just about any pendant you may want.

Please see my other listings for other lengths, sizes and type rope.

I will combine shipping when able.

Lotus prices Exige S Roadster from £52,900

Wed, 22 May 2013

Lotus has announced its new Exige S Roadster will be priced from £52,900 – exactly the same as the hard-top Exige S. It’s also slightly lighter than the fixed-head Exige, and matches its blistering acceleration times.  That £52,900 tag makes the 345bhp Exige S Roadster £7500 pricier than a (pre-options list) Porsche Boxster S manual, though the 1328kg Porsche makes do with only 315bhp.

Records set by a car you can buy doing something you could do. A bit like Tom Ford’s run to Munich and back in a BMW 320d ED last week when he managed over 1,000 miles on a single standard tank of fuel.
