Audi A3 E-tron concept (2011) first official pictures
Tue, 19 Apr 2011This is the Audi A3 E-tron concept, just unveiled alongside the new Q3 SUV at the 2011 Shanghai motor show. It’s Audi’s second A3 concept car in the space of two months – the first was a 402bhp super saloon, but this is a little more eco-conscious, with a plug-in hybrid powertrain – but both preview how the next A3 will look. Fiat unveils new 900cc TwinAir two-cylinder engine
Wed, 07 Jul 2010Fiats of old used to feature noisy two-cylinders with a fetish for overheating, yet the Italians are at it again, this week releasing details of their new TwinAir two-cylinder 900cc engines. Headline figures from the 83bhp twin are 23% more power than the regular 1.2 four-pot and the same as a 1.4 16v - yet with 30% less consumption.

Lewis Hamilton had obviously given himself a good talking to – or someone else had – as he displayed controlled aggression, and consummate skill, to take pole in Korea after his dismal series of performances of late. But all that effort was for nought as new world champion Vettel put him firmly in his place on the very first lap, never to look back.
