BMW to build plug-in hybrid sports coupe

The futuristically styled plug-in hybrid was first revealed at the Frankfurt motor show in 2009. It is set to undergo an accelerated development program that aims to place the low-slung four-seater on sale in all of BMW's key world markets, including North America, by October 2013.
Ford Kuga – moving to the USA

So the reports we’re hearing that Ford are about to up sticks with Kuga production from Saarlouis to Louisville make sense on a number of levels. The Kuga could make a very viable replacement for the Ford Escape (which in its last iteration was sold in Europe as the Maverick).
