This auction is for a matched pair of used Mopar 30 spline axles and I am told they were from a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. I am not a Mopar guy but I believe these are considered “C” body cars. The axles are 4 ½ inch bolt circle and are both the same length of approximately 29 5/16 inches measured by hooking the tape to the outside of the axle flange, (wheel face), and measuring to the end of the axle splines. This auction is for a matched pair of used axles from the same rear end. The axle studs on one axle have been replaced with new Dorman Studs. Some applications for these axles would be 1968-1970 Charger, 1968-1970 Coronet, Super Bee & RT, 1968-1970 Belvedere, Road Runner, Satellite & GTX with 8 ¾” removable third member. And let’s face it, so entrenched is the Prius as a ‘Planet Saver’ in the minds of many that even if we simply confirm our opinion after a week of playing it’s not really going to make much difference to Toyota.
Dodge Viper operations draw limited interest
Thu, 28 May 2009Chrysler LLC's Viper sports car business has drawn only limited interest from buyers, according to court statements filed in connection with the automaker's bankruptcy hearing. Chrysler recently offered to sell the entire Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, which builds the Dodge Viper sports car, for $10 million, Chrysler Chairman Bob Nardelli said in a statement. "We received no purchaser interest," he said.
