Wow, a virtual Mopar cornucopia! Don't miss out!

NEW for Mopar: Big-Block 383 - 400 Edelbrock Performer RPM
THROTTLE CABLE BRACKET Setup -
WITH KICKDOWN
Complete with cable clamp, hirrpin clip and washer, dual return springs and bracket, etc. OEM quality and specs.

Here's a throttle cable bracket and return spring kit for use with Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifolds on Chrysler / Plymouth / Dodge "B" engines (not RB / 440).

This bracket setup is specifically engineered to use the '66-'72 3-Rod kickdown linkage arrangement - maintains correct OEM geometry! Will also, of course, be perfect with manual trans, manual shift TorqueFlites, etc., but will NOT work with earlier or later (1-rod, etc.) kickdown linkage. See installed pix (note that cable, KD linkage rods and lever (orange), stud, etc. are not included -- see main pix above):

Will also work flawlessly with the older Edelbrock Performer (non-RPM version) if you add a 1" carb spacer, which is also great for power production!

If you have a RB / 440, or different manifold, or prefer to convert to the Lokar cable kickdown, check my eBay store for a wide assortment of brackets, longer throttle cables, etc.

Drivers unmoved by electric cars

Thu, 28 Nov 2013

SUPPORT for electric cars appears to be failing to spark off real interest from drivers, according to a survey of more than 3,000 motorists. Only 1% of UK drivers own an alternative fuel vehicle (AFV), while CO2 emissions are at the bottom of the checklist when Britons are shopping for a new car, the poll by Auto Trader found. Since January 2011, motorists have been eligible for up to £5,000 upfront cost relief on the purchase of a new electric vehicle but the survey showed that 35% of drivers were unaware of this grant.
