original 426 stage 3 max wedge oil pan...was modified back in the day with a 3 1/2" plate added for xtra oil capacity..appx 8" total depth..stock was 6 qts,,now its appx 9-10 qts,,as ran from back in its race day,,,i love these old race parts...the storys it could tell...i stripped the paint off of it yesterday so u can get a clear picture of the condition..its actually in real good condition.if I keep it I might use a little bondo on it to smooth it before I install my milodon external pickup.which will bolt right up to the 3 1/2" plate for easy install just like the milodon pans,,except more ground clearance...this oil pan was only made for a few months,,probably what the 6 pack pans were based upon but diff config..this pan is the rarest of the rare in the mopar world...unmodified units can fetch up to 5000.00..

needs a little TLC but the pan rails are straight and is good to go.the baffles need a little straighting and retack welded in place..a 2 minute job for a good welder...drain plug threads are good...used to have a rear bottom pick up of some sort...what u see is what u get...sold as is..no returns,,ask all questions if u have any before end of auction...

25.00 fixed shipping to the lower 48 ONLY..

Classic Design Concepts to debut "Bad Penny" Ford Mustang

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

There won't be a shortage of custom-built Ford Mustangs at the upcoming SEMA show in Las Vegas, and there's one car that's already making waves before the show has even started. Classic Design Concepts has published photos and details of the "Bad Penny" Mustang that will be debuting at the show, and the company promises that it will be as fast and as mean as it looks. The base vehicle used for the build is a 2014 Ford Mustang GT, with a 5.0-liter four-valve Ti-VCT V8 engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Chrysler's high-stakes 'no' to NHTSA

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

DETROIT -- For 17 years, automakers have complied with every request for a recall, no matter how costly, from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. And then last week, in a startling decision, Chrysler Group said no. It refused a request from NHTSA to recall 2.7 million 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2002-07 Libertys for an alleged fire risk caused by fuel tanks mounted behind the rear axle.

Rhonda's Renaissance Part 1

Mon, 26 Mar 2012

There are few bigger moments in a project car's resurrection than when the paint and finish are chosen. Let's face it, 95 percent of people are only going to see the exterior. Today's builders are inundated with choices ranging from hue and texture to material and, of course, cost.
