MoPaR big block crank shaft harmonic balancer or damper.  Installs on any big block 383 400 413 440 426 equipped with forged / steel crankshaft.  Cleaned up by my local machine shop and sprayed with a military grade corrosion preventative.  Casting number 1604-2, has a 6 bolt non-symmetrical bolt pattern, and is OEM (original equipment) for 1962-71 big blocks.  The rubber seal on the back is in excellent condition.  Most balancers of this age have seriously deteriorated or a cracked rubber seal.  Free shipping to USA using a USPS flat rate box.  Tracking number will be provided.  Be sure to check out my other MoPaR parts.

Volkswagen is pushing ahead with development of a new narrow-angle V6 direct-injection gas engine, sources from the German carmaker's engineering headquarters based in Braunschweig reveal. Engineering for the new engine is being overseen by Volkswagen's new head of engine development, Fritz Eichler -- who in a previous position led the development of the current generation of Mercedes-Benz AMG powerplants -- continues with a swept volume of 3.0-liters and an unfashionable 15-degree cylinder bank angle. It has been conceived for transverse mounting.

Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse breaks cover at Frankfurt motor show

Lamborghini revealed the V10-powered Gallardo Squadra Corse at the Frankfurt motor show on Tuesday. The name refers to the recently founded department within the company that manages all motorsport activities, from GT3 to Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. Lamborghini says the Squadra Corse is derived directly from the race car version, using the same V10 engine and rear wing.

Jaguar to offer 4WD across its range – but does that mean for the UK too?

JaguarĀ hasĀ revealed it plans to offer all wheel drive models across its range for future models, but will the UK get the chance to buy a 4WD Jaguar? Not only was the lack of a four wheel drive platform hampering sales, but it was cited as one of the main reasons Jaguar hadn’t given the green light to an XF Estate. But things have moved on in the last couple of years and Jaguar has recently launched a 4WD XJ and 4WD XF (although not for the UK) and finally delivered the XF Sportbrake (but without a 4WD option).
