Like the previous two generations of A8, the new car is built entirely of aluminium, meaning it achieves some incredible fuel figures. BMW pushes back the U.S. debut of the X1 until the end of 2012
Mon, 02 May 2011BMW will not offer its compact X1 crossover in the United States until the end of 2012 because of strong demand for the redesigned version of the larger X3. Also, the X1 is selling well outside the United States so supplies are tight, said Jim O'Donnell, CEO of BMW of North America. The X1 was launched in Europe in November 2009.
Report: New-vehicle purchase price on the rise

The average transaction price for passenger cars and trucks in the United States was $31,087 last month, up $339 from March 2012. Transaction price, or the out-the-door price, includes taxes, titles and fees.
