This auction is for the two pictured heads and the pictured Holley Street Dominator intake. The heads and intake were shaved and port matched so we are selling them as a set.
They were from a 3400# 1967 Coronet R/T that ran very consistent 11.80's with full exhaust and MickyThompson street slicks. It used a Direct Connection .509 lift 292 duration hydraulic cam. About 8 years ago, the motor started smoking and losing power. We discovered that one cylinder had abnormal wear. The motor was already punched .060 over we had to hang it up. Since we had a ton of money in these heads and they worked so well, we saved them for later use by stashing them in a dry safe bedroom closet. Now we need money and the next street/strip motor never came to be so these are reluctantly are up for grabs. The heads have oversized valves and were ported using Direct Connection porting templates. The springs are set up for the aforementioned cam. Here is your chance to step up to the next level! Looking like a Kia take on the Juke – although we think Kia see it more as a take on the MINi Countryman / MINI Paceman – it looks like a perfect direction for Kia to take with a ready market for butch little cars for blatting round town growing all the time. But you can’t please all the people all the time, and Kia has run in to trouble with the Provo already, as Unionist MPs in Northern Ireland have taken exception to the name.
