You are bidding on a large collection of big block motors and misc. parts. There are 3 Big Block 440 motor blocks and cranks, and 3 Big Block 383 motors. Some are steel cranks and some cast. One of the 383 motors is an HP motor out of a buddies 1968 Roadrunner. This could make a restorer of a 1968 Charger, 1968 Dodge Super Bee, or Roadrunner a perfect date correct HP motor. There several misc parts that go with these motors, all for one money. 3 = 727 Autos, 15 big block heads 906 and 452 castings. 6 starters, 5 waterpump housings, 5 = 4 barrel intakes, 3 brake master cylinders wheel brake drums, rods and pistons, several valve covers, torque convertors, and 4 power stearing pumps. These are all from mid 60's to early 70's parts. I have been storing these in a sealed building for years, and have lost that storage. They are currently under a roof in a shed that has an open front, so its time to let someone else that can use these purchase them. I am keeping 2 of the 5 autos in the pictures and 2 of the 6 power stearing pumps. I still have a 1969 Super Bee and a 1969 Coronet that I will be keeping these items for, but all other mopar parts in the pictures go to the winning bidder of the auction. I will not ship this, because it is too much hassle. If you want them it will be local pick-up only. Bring some help as I have a bad disc in my back and will not be able to help toss these in your truck. I do have a friend that said if you pay him $25.00 he would bring his tractor and boom to help load the heavy motors. You can pay him that loading fee when you get here. Don't miss out on this deal!! These 1960's and early 1970's parts are getting harder to find every day. If you are restoring these old cars and want the early parts, here is your chance to get a group of them. Good luck bidding! Winning bidder must pay thru pay pall with-in 2 days of end of auction. Don't waste time bidding as I have reserved the right to end the auction early as I have these items for sale locally as well.

Hyundai i30

Wed, 07 Sep 2011

Though CDN was invited to attend a preview of the all-new Hyundai i30 ahead of its official unveiling at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, these are the only images we're able to show you of the Korean automaker's C-segment hatchback until next week. "Through the profile of the new generation i30, a strong character line runs over the front and rear wheelarches all the way to the tail lamps," says Thomas Bürkle, Chief Designer at Hyundai Motor Europe. "A softer, lower character line rises up the car's flank creating a play of light and shadow - a fundamental feature of fluidic sculpture." The next evolution of the current i30 will be shown alongside the new i40 saloon and the new 1+2 door Veloster coupe on the company's Frankfurt show stand, which is claimed to reflect Hyundai's new brand direction - 'New Thinking, New Possibilities'.

'Drivers determine cycling safety'

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

HIGH-VIS clothing on cyclists does not deter drivers from performing the "most dangerous" overtakes, scientists say. Between 1% and 2% of drivers pass "dangerously close" to cyclists when overtaking, regardless of what they are wearing, a study found. The average gap left by a driver overtaking a cyclist has shrunk over the past few decades from 179cm in 1979 to 118cm in 2013.
