2014 BMW X5 priced starting at $53,725

The 2014 BMW X5 was officially revealed by the automaker about a month ago, but now the pricing has been officially released. The rear-wheel drive X5 sDrive35i starts at $53,725 (all prices include destination and handling) while the all-wheel drive xDrive35i will start at $56,025. These models come with BMW's 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six laying down 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.

Mini paints Rocketman concept, celebrates Britain ahead of Olympics

Mini has updated the 2011 Geneva motor show Rocketman concept to celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. The Rocketman concept couldn't make the leap to production status, we reported in January. Ex-TVR chairman Peter Wheeler (1944-2009)

Wheeler was in charge of TVR during some of the company’s finest modern years, launching lightweight and powerful rear-wheel drive Blackpool-built sports car including the Chimaera and Griffith, and the Cerbera, Tuscan, Tamora and Sagaris with TVR's own engine. Wheeler passed away during the night on Thursday 11 June after a short illness.
