Used condition, has been cleaned and glass media blasted. Mains and rods have a fresh turn at +10 on rod journals and +20 on main journals. Checked out by professional machine shop. Mopar performance p4529710 crankshaft. These 3.51" stroke cranks were used for circle track engines to bring a 340's 4.04" bore to 359.95 cubic inch. These cranks were made by SCAT for Mopar and are 1053 forged steel. The flywheel flange is 8 bolt. Crank journals at 2.28"-2.29" and rod journals at 1.89"-1.90". |

Top Gear fans will probably remember Jeremy Clarkson taking the Peel P50 – billed as the world’s smallest car ever – for a trolley round London and the BBC (we’ve published the video below to remind you). Now, with the world obsessed with small cars, a bunch of businessmen – backed by former Dragons’ Den Dragon James Caan – are putting the Peel P50 and Trident back in to production.

General Motors board recommends selling Opel to Magna-led group
Thu, 10 Sep 2009General Motors Co.'s board has decided to support selling a majority stake in Opel to a group led by Canadian auto parts giant Magna. The move caps weeks of high-stakes maneuvering on both sides of the Atlantic that saw nationalism, labor issues and--perhaps most critical to GM, the use of its technology--all come into play. Magna and Russian lender Sberbank will get a 55 percent interest in Opel, the linchpin of GM's European operations for 80 years, as well as its British sister brand Vauxhall.
