Cadillac to update logo?

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

Cadillac is working on the first major change to its logo in more than a decade, pruning away the classic laurel wreaths that surround its crest, several sources told Automotive News. The redesigned badge would appear on production cars no earlier than the 2015 model year, and the plans could change, the sources said.

And if any more McLaren F1s set on fire, as we reported recently, the ones left will all go up in value.

Volkswagen aims for lofty Beetle sales

Mon, 25 Apr 2011

The attractive new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is expected to sell as many as 50,000 to 60,000 units a year in the United States. The car launches this fall. That level will be a big improvement over the latter years of the outgoing model, in which sales dwindled to just 15,000 a year, but it remains lower than the record figure of 83,000 achieved 18 months after the launch of the revised model.
