I bought this at a swap meet about 15 years ago.  They are rare animals not commonly found anymore.  It appears to never have been bolted onto a motor.  They are designed for idle-4500 rpm TORQUE...as in a heavy car, truck or motorhome application.  Most people online will tell you these are junk, but for its particular app, it works well.  Also, if you spend enough time on online forums, you'll discover 95% of the people know only 10% of what they post.  :)

These were developed during the gas crunch 70's, and were designed for fuel economy and throttle response.  They work well with smaller carbs.  This intake has a dual pattern flange, spread bore or square.  It is an EGR manifold, but the EGR holes have been sealed with threaded plugs.  Vic Edelbrock would probably sell his daughter into slavery before admitting his company ever manufactured these intakes.

I don't really WANT to sell this, it would work in my app, but ideally I'd like a more period-correct aftermarket intake for my '69 440.  So, if you have an old school Offy for RB or CH4B and want to work up a trade, maybe we can deal.  Otherwise, the high price reflects my desire to sell it.  I'll only sell if I can buy something else I want with the money to replace it.  I have a used '75 Thermoquad (needs re-built) I can include, if you would like the whole mid-70's setup.

About me and my stuff:  Since 2000, I've been running a side business doing Jaguar motor and European import car service.  In April of 2011, I moved to GA to be nearer my parents.  Along with me, I brought ALL of the miscellaneous parts I've been collecting since then that were spares, trades, project cast-offs, parts to "see if something would work," etc.  Some of the stuff is new, some is used/take-off.

I have been using eBay on-and-off since 1998, however, this is my first foray into "selling" on eBay!  Ask questions and notice my contact info at the bottom.  I love talking to potential buyers and answering questions about the items I have for sale.  I generally have all items listed in close proximity, so if there's specific info you need to know, I can inspect it quickly.

Shipping costs take into account materials (boxes, tape, peanuts/bubble wrap, toner, paper), time, and fuel; not to mention the 9% fee eBay charges me for what it costs to ship the item to you.  I'm not a big box retailer and I can't give that stuff away for free.  I ship priority mostly as it requires less "handling" by the post office.  On large items I usually give the choice of UPS or USPS Services.

All items come from a smoke free, pet free home.

I feel all my BIN prices are FAIR for the particular item being listed.  I research completed listings before pricing items.  Therefore, so when a Make Offer option is indicated, I RARELY accept offers discounted more than 10% off the BIN price.

The Rubik's Cube(TM), if in the photo, is not part of the auction, it's just my mascot and there for size reference.

Know the capabilities and function of the item BEFORE you purchase it!  Don't ASSUME it does something then be disappointed when it doesn't work the way you thought it would!  PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK before purchasing and making a mistake!  It is frustrating and costs us BOTH time AND money!

Please check my other auctions as well, I'm always selling all kinds of eclectic stuff.  Auto parts, cycling parts, motorcycle parts, golf items, computer parts, electronics, clothing, etc.

I try to adequately describe items to the best of my knowledge and I don't sell "junk."  Have realistic expectations, and please contact me before leaving negative feedback to give me a chance to make it right!

You are not borrowing it to "see if you like it", you are BUYING IT!  I don't do PARTIAL REFUNDS so if you don't like the item then you need to return it for a full refund, because I will re-list it.

eBay is NOT my full-time business, just a guy turning some spare stuff/time into income.
