Had those axles out of the banjo housing a few too many times changing gears on the race car ? Flange gaskets and inner axle seals a bit “ragged” and starting to leak a bit ? New parts can solve that problem. Consists of the differential gasket (third member), 2 new inner axle seals which install inside the banjo housing, 2 new Chrysler OEM sealer-coated embossed metal gaskets which seal the backing plates to the housing flanges and 2 new Chrysler OEM foam gaskets which seal the bearing retainer plates to the brake backing plates. Applicable to 1965-1974 vehicles using the 8-3/4” rear axle assembly. Toyota TRD GT86 UK bound

Wed, 18 Jul 2012

The Toyota TRD GT86 – a titivated GT86 – is heading for the UK as a special edition of Toyota’s new sports car. The Toyota GT86 (and, for that matter, the Subaru BRZ) is exactly the sort of car Toyota should be building in the 21st century; good looking, fun and affordable, it fills a niche Toyota have long been absent from. The only drawback has been a feeling that the GT86 could be more aggressive than it is and, to a degree, the Toyota TRD GT86 fixes that.

Is Chrysler still American? Yes, it is

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Last week, we mentioned that the Secret Service was soliciting bids for a new presidential limousine. Among the criteria for a replacement for "The Beast" was the following: "This solicitation is restricted to Major Domestic U.S Automobile Manufacturers, who have their primary headquarters located in the United States of America." Well, with that came the suggestion that Chrysler -- now entirely underneath the banner of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles -- reports to somewhere far, far away from its nominal H.Q. in Auburn Hills, Mich.
