Had those axles out of the banjo housing a few too many times changing gears on the race car ? Flange gaskets and inner axle seals a bit “ragged” and starting to leak a bit ? New parts can solve that problem. Consists of the differential gasket (third member), 2 new inner axle seals which install inside the banjo housing, 2 new Chrysler OEM sealer-coated embossed metal gaskets which seal the backing plates to the housing flanges and 2 new Chrysler OEM foam gaskets which seal the bearing retainer plates to the brake backing plates. Applicable to 1965-1974 vehicles using the 8-3/4” rear axle assembly. Kia GT and Provo look to be heading in to production
Tue, 12 Mar 2013The recent Kia Provo Concept and the impressive Kia GT look like they’re heading in to production as Kia move upmarket. Equally, the stunning Kia GT concept we saw at 2 years ago at Frankfurt - a swoopy coupe Kia take on the Mercedes CLS – was equally convincing, although we’d begun to think Kia had gone cold on the idea of putting the Kia GT in to production. But Auto Express are reporting that both the Provo (with a change of name ) and the GT are close to being signed off for production after a conversation with Benny Oeyen, Kia’s marketing boss in Europe.

Although we’ve been looking at the Jaguar F-Type Roadster (albeit with a black and white camouflage paint job) since April, it doesn’t officially arrive until Paris next month. But Jaguar has learnt that the Interwebs like a constant drip of new information on hotly anticipated cars, so they’ve dropped a new video for the F-Type focussing on its performance.
Hennessey Performance CTS-V wagon breaks its own record at the Texas Mile

John Hennessey and his company, Hennessey Performance, brought its tuned-up, 707-hp Cadillac CTS-V wagon--a.k.a., the Hammer Wagon--to the Texas Mile and posted a one-mile speed of 189.7 mph, a new record for the car. And that wasn't even terminal velocity, according to Hennessey.
