Braunschweig University of Art Show 2005
Fri, 09 Dec 2005Transportation Design students from Braunschweig University of Art in Germany presented their work at the 2005 graduation show held in July. The show displayed final thesis projects as well as projects from the last term. Graduating student Ingo Brueckmann presented an open roadster as his diploma project.
Audi A6, A6 Avant & A7 Black Edition launched
Thu, 01 Nov 2012Audi has released Black Edition version of the A6 Saloon, A6 Avant and A7 with extra equipment and cosmetic tweaks. Audi has taken the S Line A6, A6 Avant and A7 and given them a ‘Black’ makeover for a special edition range that starts at £35k and carries on to almost £57k. Cosmetic and equipment additions over and above the regular S Line Spec include rotor-design alloys with a dark titanium finish (20″ on A6, 21″ on A7), black finish for the grill and window surrounds, privacy glass and black roof rails on the A6 Avant. Inside there’s Piano Black trim, black leather seats and black headlining.
New Jaguar XJ Supersport Diesel coming?
Sun, 30 May 2010The Jaguar XJ Supersport TDV8 - expect it in showrooms in 2011 We’ve known for quite a while that Jaguar Land Rover were going to start putting a new V8 diesel in to their cars. The 3.6 litre TDV8 which goes in the Land Rover is a very good lump (made by Ford at Dagenham) with some decent horses and a nice fat lump of torque. But the introduction by Jaguar of the 3.0 litre diesel and its subsequent introduction in to Land Rover’s cars meant the 3.6 litre’s days were numbered.
