NEW Moroso 72000 25 foot roll of insulated blue wire shield. These are closely woven, fiberglass, insulated wire sleeves. Specifically designed to extend spark plug life and protect wires from header heat, they fit 7mm and 8mm spark plug wires. These add up to 8,000 volts of of extra insulation and a total of 16,000 volts of insurance against crossfire. If you have expensive spark plug wires consider this insurance against damaging them!

MIT researchers rethink electric-car batteries
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say a new battery design for electric vehicles could be a lightweight and inexpensive alternative. The goal for the team's three-year project, launched in September 2010, is to have a functioning prototype ready to be engineered as a replacement for existing electric-car batteries. At this point in the project, the prototype uses a “semi-solid flow” to separate the two functions of a battery--storing energy and discharging it when needed--into separate physical structures.
McLaren P1 Track confirmed as McLaren Automotive goes in to profit
Wed, 04 Jun 2014McLaren are building a track version of the P1 (pictured) for P1 customers only It’s only three years since McLaren Automotive entered the hugely competitive market for high-end supercars (well, it’s four years, but only three since the first 12C went to a customer), but it’s already in profit. McLaren made an operating profit in 2013 of £12.4 million (and a pre-tax of £4.4 million) on sales of £284.4 million and did so – as predicted – by hitting their sales targets – McLaren sold 1359 12Cs and 36 of the McLaren P1 hypercar. And that looks to be just the start.

The entries - coming from the Southern California design studios of Audi, General Motors, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota - all revolve around a set theme which asked designers to envision the ultimate ‘youthmobile' for the year 2030. Automobiles have always played an important role in Southern California, enhancing the social lives of youth and acting as a means of self expression.
