But times have changed and the rise in fuel prices and the collapse of the US car market has seen US car buyers looking at more ‘compact’ cars as appealing buys. Which explains why smaller cars have suddenly become an appealing ‘must have’ for car makers selling in the US, even ‘premium’ car makers.

A much more grown-up crossover than Nissan’s original trailblazing original, it conspires to offer more of everything and with more than a hint of the new Nissan X-Trail. A bit bigger all-round than the first Qashqia, the new Qashqai looks sportier than before with its slightly lower stance and a reworked front with the new Nissan grill, wraparound headlights and clamshell bonnet whilst the back end gets a rework and some new boomerang lights.
BMW recalls 5-Series for rear lighting problem
Fri, 20 Sep 2013BMW has announced a recall of 134,100 5-series sedans due to a potential rear-light issue. The recall includes 528i, 535i, 550i and M5 sedans from the 2008 to 2010 model years. According to the U.S.
