This item is a cable terminator joint specifically designed to terminate two fiber optic cables (data "in" cable and data "out" cable) used on the M.O.S.T fiber optic ring found in BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover & VW vehicles. The BMW part number for this connector is 61138387214. Please see the BMW parts diagram included with this listing (part number 11 in the diagram). The fiber optic cables are terminated into this part before being inserted into the M.O.S.T plug provided for each module on the ring. No special tools are required to fit the fiber optic cables into this cable terminator joint. Nissan GT-R tweaked for 2009 with more power
Tue, 09 Dec 2008By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 09 December 2008 11:30 The Nissan GT-R still hasn’t gone on sale in Europe and it's already been treated to a few tweaks - new for 2009 will be more power, revised suspension, different wheels and tyres, plus a price hike. Quite, but the increase is a mere 5bhp, taking the output of Nissan's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 from 473 to 478bhp. Nissan says the extra grunt comes from the fine tweaking of the electronics, though torque remains unchanged at 432lb ft.

Fri, 23 Feb 2007Fioravanti will be represented at the Geneva Motor Show by this, the Thalia, named after one of the three Graces of Greek mythology. The rear hump means a staggered silhouette, reflecting the rear seating which has been elevated to accommodate 'the most recent alternative energy technology.' Along with its unusual architecture, the sketch also shows a unique graphic break, with the dominant sweep and rear-biased mass reminding a little of the Mazda Senku concept. It will be interesting to see the model in Geneva.

Fri, 03 May 2013One of the odder things about living in "the future" is that things develop so gradually, hardly any of the really amazing things we're exposed to every day seem amazing or futuristic. If the iPhone had just appeared from nowhere in 2007, there would have been riots, demonstrations and legislation. But since we had a Blackberry first, and dedicated cellphones before that, the iPhone and its progeny were never quite shocking.
