Wed, 05 Feb 2014Winning the Super Bowl is a tremendous achievement, and after the festivities were over on Sunday, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith received another present in addition to a Super Bowl ring. Smith was voted Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLVIII by fan vote and a media panel on Sunday, during the postgame show. Yet another present was in store for him, as the very next day he received the keys to the official MVP vehicle for this year's Super Bowl, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country.
GM returning to leasing with luxury vehicles
Thu, 30 Jul 2009General Motors will return to the leasing business focusing on luxury vehicles, but not on a broader basis, Vice Chairman Bob Lutz said. "We'd rather sell less at higher profit than sell more at lower profit." Lutz said it still would make sense for GM to do more leasing on its luxury vehicles.
Horror crash drivers offered training course
Tue, 21 Jan 2014POLICE who found enough evidence to prosecute 32 motorists following a 150-car pile-up have offered to send them on a driver alertness course instead. A senior police officer said handing the drivers a chance to go on the course would be more beneficial than putting them before the courts. The decision to spare drivers prosecution follows a four-month investigation by specialist collision investigators and case review staff from Kent Police.
