Stunning pictures of classic cars in Paris
Fri, 07 Feb 2014The classic car market is booming and there have been not one, but two, auctions of beautiful historic cars in Paris in the past week alone. We've already reported on the inaugural RM Auctions Paris sale, which saw nearly £15 million's worth of the world’s rarest and most exotic cars going under the hammer, including a Jaguar D-type that sold for more than £3 million. The other was the annual Bonhams Les Grand Marques du Monde au Grand Palais car auction.
Rolls-Royce Ghost (2009) prices and performance announced

Although the final production car hasn’t yet been revealed, the prices, performance and other tech figures have now been made public. The Ghost, which is being shown at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show for the first time (the first four pictures are of the 200EX concept car, only the fifth, teaser photo is of the real production car), will be powered by a 563bhp 6.6-litre turbocharged V12.
Land Rover reveals rejigged Discovery at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Land Rover has revealed a surprisingly comprehensive facelift for the Discovery range here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – and the firm has underlined the changes with some new badging for the Discovery range. Instead of having ‘LAND ROVER’ on the bonnet, the new Discovery has, well, ‘DISCOVERY’ lettering. That’s because Land Rover wants to make Discovery into its own brand, a bit like Range Rover: here at Frankfurt 2013, we’re seeing the first steps in this rebranding.
