Hey motorcycle restorers.  These are mid 80’s vintage Veglia Borletti speedometers meant for Moto Guzzi V50 series motorcycle, but they would fit many others.  Because Veglia is a common OEM supplier for so many Italian motorcycle brands, these may fit others such as Morini, Laverda, Ducati and Benelli.  These would be a grade period addition to your café racer, bobbed, or rat bike.

We have two types - this is the cable reset - so be sure to choose the right type for your application.  All are graduated into MPH on the outer ring and KM on the inner.  They are certainly mid 80’s because they only read to 85 mph.   Again, these are brand new, old stock.  They are actual steel and glass construction.  The drive ratio is 1610 revs per mile, so check what your cable drive is geared for.

Have fun and build something cool!!!

Refunds:  Refunds are accepted within 14 days of delivery, unless otherwise noted.  Buyer must contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA).  All “new” items must be returned in new condition and in the original packaging.  Used items which are approved for return must not be altered in any way.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges unless the item is not as described.

We make every effort to accurately describe the condition of everything we sell and to post photos that accurately depict its condition.  Moto International makes no representations or warranties other than that the part or vehicle is as described.  IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT US FAR ENOUGH IN ADVANCE OF THE AUCTION’S CLOSE SO THAT WE CAN ANSWER THEM.

BMW i3 EV takes to the race track (video)

BMW i3 EV takes to the race track (video) The BMW i3 EV City Car finally got revealed in July in production guise, and it’s a clever car if not exactly a looker. With a lightweight inner body made from carbon fibre and an electric motor that offers 168 bhp and an instant 184lb/ft of torque it has more than enough power to keep up with traffic in any city. Sadly, the i3 hasn’t done particularly well in Euro NCAP tests but that hasn’t stopped orders for the i3 exceeding anything BMW could have reasonably expected.

Ferrari 458 Speciale to debut at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Update: Preview video added below, and yes, you can hear the car's engine -- barely -- through the thumping movie trailer-like music. A new Prancing Horse is set to go public at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show: Ferrari will use the event to introduce the 458 Speciale, which will join the 458 Italia and 458 Spider at the lower end of Ferrari's range. Visually, the 2,844 lb., mid-engined 458 Speciale doesn't depart too much from the 458 Italia, though the new model gets a more aggressive fascia and a massive hood duct that -- when coupled with an apparently F1-inspired interior -- hints at the no-nonsense sporting purpose of the car.
