Infiniti LE EV is Infiniti’s take on the Nissan LEAF

As far back as October 2009 – when the Nissan LEAF EV was first revealed - we learnt that Nissan were planning the LEAF to be just the start of their EV adventure and that they were planning more electric cars built on the same underpinnings as the LEAF and one of those would be an Infiniti. And here its is, the Infiniti LE.

It's 80mm longer, 65mm wider and 50mm lower than its predecessor, although its wheelbase has only grown by 5mm. This new set of dimensions reduces some of the upright look of its predecessor as Hyundai strives to shift its model range further upmarket.
Prime Minister praises JLR during visit to new engine plant
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Prime Minister David Cameron today praised Jaguar Land Rover as he made a surprise visit to the firm’s brand new £500 million engine production facility in Wolverhampton. The PM flew in to join a special contingent of MPs, local government officials and the press on an early preview tour of the in-construction new plant, just six weeks after the JLR team themselves moved in. Apparently, an insider told MSN Cars, the PM had personally requested to visit the plant – and he wasn’t originally invited!
