Vauxhall Insignia VXR Sports Tourer won't go on sale in the US
Probably the most significant thing so far is that Opel and Vauxhall will not be allowed to sell cars in the US, or indeed in to China. Which does cut out a lot of potential, if not exactly a lot of current, sales possibilities. It makes sense for GM to have made this clause in the sale agreement, but it will hurt the new Magna owned group in the long run.

The 2011 BMW 6-Series Coupe is revealed
Having turned new car release convention on its head by revealing the 2011 BMW 6 Series Convertible first, BMW has now decided they ought to make the BMW 6 Series Coupe official ahead of its debut at the Shanghai Motor Show next month. And, as expected,we get pretty much what we got at the Paris Motor Show where BMW were calling this the 6-Series Coupe Concept – a tin-top version of the 6-Series Convertible. The lines of the 2011 6-Series (as always, make that 2012 BMW 6 Series across the Pond) are less jarring than the last model.

The Citroen Revolte Concept - the new 2CV? It’s looking increasingly likely that this new Citroen will revive the 2CV moniker. But that referred to ‘Two Steam Horses’, so unless this is one very eco car powered by a rubber band and a clockwork mechanism I guess the name will be there for nostalgic reasons rather than denoting anything specific.
