The newest addition to my kitted arsenal is a fantastic alternative to the factory Holley 2210 carb on the IH V-8’s.  Installs very fast, simple to tune and everything needed is included.

What exactly is included:

Custom built Motorcraft 2150 (built by me for you.) Throttle linkage will be correct, all mounting hardware is included as well as all mounting gaskets.

Spring return bracket and bolt included that will allow you to retain your factory return spring.

Air Cleaner stud (will be oversized and may require cutting before shutting hood)

Brass fuel inlet nozzle that will allow you to run a rubber fuel line and reroute if needed.

Optional:

$15 – Manual Choke kit and all hardware required to run a manual/cable choke.

$22 – electric choke kit.  A simple way to replace the factory thermal heated choke riser.  1 wire hook up and highly recommended.  If you do not choose either choke option, the carburetor will come configured for an electric choke but will not include the choke cap.

$25 – Air cleaner.  Simple, chrome, quick to install.  You can modify the factory air cleaner if desired and I can assist but I highly recommend an aftermarket setup.

Everything needed will be included.  The install takes under an hour and all instructions and support from me is available.  I have built and sold over 11,000 Motorcraft 2100/2150’s over the past 12 years.  I will custom build this carburetor to work on your engine at your elevation.  That’s what I do.  If you are at sea-level or at tree-line, I can help.  There is no better 2 barrel carburetor on the market than the Motorcraft 2150.  It will increase power, efficiency, MPG (yes I said MPG) and will run at very extreme off-camber situations.  You will be pleased.

After your order I may request pictures of anything in question.  I want to do all of the hard stuff for you.

I will need to know a few item specifics such as the year, engine (I can do them all - 266, 304, 345, 400, 401, 404, etc…) and I’d like to know what you do with the vehicle (street/off-road/both/etc)  I custom build every order for its intended application.

Cadillac ELR – a posh Chevy Volt: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

The Cadillac ELR – a range extender Cadillac with the running gear from the Chevrolet Volt – has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Joining the Chevrolet Volt and Vauxhall Ampera as the third version of GM’s range-extender pitch at the EV market, the two-door Cadillac ELR is a convincing looking offering with swoopy looks, wheels at the corners, a great big nose (that can close for better aerodynamics), dramatic LED headlights, steeply raked screen and lots of sharp creases. The interior of the ELR looks as appealing as the exterior, with lashings of decent leather, digital instruments, Bose sound with noise cancellation, carbon inserts and even powered cupholders.

Peugeot HR1 concept

Mon, 18 Oct 2010

Alongside the new 508, Peugeot unveiled a B-segment SUV concept called the HR1 in Paris. The new car builds on the new design identity established by the SR1 concept, but also features elements of the diminutive BB1 concept revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Read our opinion of the new design in our 2010 Paris Motor Show Highlights, and see more photos, sketches and renderings of the HR1 concept in our photo gallery below.
