2013 Toyota RAV4 leaks ahead of LA debut

The 2013 Toyota RAV4 is due to be unveiled at the 2012 Los Angeles Motor Show tomorrow, but thanks to a leak of photos we already know how it looks. The photos show a new RAV4 that is less boxy and sleeker, taking some styling cues from the new Auris, and looks fit to take the battle to cars like the new Ford Kuga and new Subaru Forester. It may not quite look a “…new generation rewriting the rules in style” as Toyota told us, but it does look more contemporary.

Nissan Extrem concept

Nissan has unveiled its Extrem concept at the Sao Paolo motor show, a two-door 2+2 crossover that previews future Nissan design cues. The Extrem concept was designed at Nissan Design Center (NDA) in San Diego, California, in collaboration with Brazilian designers but much of the creative time was spent in Sao Paolo. "We call it Baby Beast," said Robert Bauer, Senior Design Manager for the project at NDA.

Mercedes-Benz has announced the 2012 M-Class. The third generation off-roader is said to ‘set a new benchmark in the SUV segment’ in terms of design, consumption and comfort. Boasting an array of mechanical and technological enhancements, the M-Class is said to be vastly improved both on and off road.
