Yes, your eyes are seeing correctly, these are boots made by Alpine Stars AND have the FOX logo. When I showed a picture of these boots to my friend who works at AlpineStars, he laughed and wondered why a kid would glue a FOX logo onto some cheap rubber boots, he said. But he was intrigued. He called me the next day and said his boss may want them for the museum there, and they were a "piece of history." These represent a time when Fox
was getting into the boot arena and commissioned Alpine Stars with making their boots.
The two companies soon parted ways and are now competitors, if not
bitter rivals. These 1987 boots are very high quality Italian made. They are size 10 and in excellent shape, no scuffs
and the zippers work perfectly.
