There are hand built, with aluminum and zinc plated hardware.  The poly carbonate tube is 1/8" thick.  They are cut to fit on standard motorcycle license plates.  If you are worried please ask,

Stash Tube is approximately 5" long and and center to center of mounting holes is 5 3/4"

I don't know when stash tubes became some 200.00 pieces of billet, these are definitely not it.  These are hand built and are perfect for carrying registration papers, keeping important information with the bike, which is key for collectors, sellers and shippers.  I have fond it convenient for holding emergency gas money, forget the wallet, or if you are in the middle of nowhere and only have a debit card in a town that has the old pumps, weird but it has happened to me.
