JAC Vision IV concept (w/ Gallery)

JAC revealed this four-door Vision IV concept at the Beijing Motor Show.  Designed by JAC's Turin-based design team, the concept showcases both a hybrid powertrain and a new A-segment chassis that houses a lithium ion battery in the center tunnel. The styling is meant to convey both a sense of 'natural electricity' and the fluid, natural strokes of Chinese calligraphy. BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe Spy Video at the Nurburgring The CLS started it all, and the A7 joined the party. But BMW aren’t going to be left out of the four-door, swoopy coupe market for long with the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe due to arrive in the Summer of 2012, after the Gran Coupe Concept was revealed at Frankfurt last year. Ahead of the debut of the Gran Coupe – probably at Geneva in the Spring as a production-ready car – BMW are out doing the James May favourite trick of shaking it down at the Nurburgring.

Coventry University MA Design Degree Show 2004

MA students from England's Coventry University Automotive Design course presented their annual degree exhibition last September in a brand-new facility. The Show, entitled 'Move', displayed the 21 students work in the new Coventry Transport Museum, situated in the recently redeveloped heart of the city. An industry seminar was also hosted on the opening evening with a keynote speech by Kevin Rice, Design Manager, BMW 1-Series, and with event sponsorship by Corus.
