I have taped up the cable as is was starting to fade and chip however it affects nothing other than cosmetically I just wanted to protect it from the elements. Works great have never had any issues what so ever since I've owned it. I had it bow mounted on my pontoon that we use for trolling for stripers here on watts bar lake and man was it the best purchase I ever made. Having hands free ability while rigging rods catching bait and trolling is a phenomenal deal. It also makes for a comfortable day of fishing once you get everything set up you can kick back and relax until you get a fish on. I highly recommend this item as it has worked wonders for me. Motorguide is top of the line. I purchased the hand remote separately as it works great when two people are fishing each of you have access to the trolling motor without any movement from either of you. Crackdown on bogus claims helps insurance costs fall by 12%
Wed, 23 Oct 2013CAR INSURANCE premiums have plunged at a record rate of 12% year-on-year amid a tougher clampdown to combat bogus motor accident claims which add to the costs of everyone's policies. The typical quote for annual comprehensive car insurance cover was £568 in October, marking a 4.5% drop on July and a 12.4% fall on a year ago, according to the latest AA Insurance premium index, which takes the average of the five cheapest quotes on the market. This is the biggest annual slide that the AA has on its records, which go back to 1994, and marks a sharp turnaround for motorists following a period of strong increases, with premiums rising by more than 40% just two years ago.

It’s actually a bit more than three years since Ron Dennis announced the formation of McLaren Automotive, which had a live launch on Cars UK on 18th March 2010. But McLaren don’t seem to acknowledge that date as the start of McLaren Automotive but instead prefer the date the first MP4-12C was sold – exactly one year ago today on June 21st 2011.

The starting point for entry in to the new Kuga is the 1.6T EcoBoost 150PS Zetec with FWD, which costs £1,000 less than the equivalent outgoing model, rising to the range-topping Kuga 2.0TDCi 163PS AWD Titanium X with all its bells and whistles for a shade under £30k. In fact, Ford say that all the like-for-like models in the new Kuga range actually come in at a lower price than the old model, citing the best-selling 2.0-litre TDCi 163PS model which, at £25,545, is £355 cheaper than in the current Kuga.
