I am offering for auction an Imported Car Repair, Professional Service Trade Edition, Motors Repair Manual 5th Edition.  This manual is loaded with repair information and specifications for 31 imported model cars of the era, and covers years 1977-1983.  These older manuals contain a lot more general information compared to the newer specific repair manuals of later years.  This manual, in the General Service Repair Section, covers repair and overhaul information on carburetors, auto and standard transmissions, starter repair and overhaul, etc.   This manual is in very nice shape for being 28 years old, shows only normal wear and usage.  This is a huge manual with 1952 pages of information.  There are a total of 400 pages of General Service Repair information, and 1552 pages of individual car information.

This manual covers 31 of the most popular imported cars of the era like; Audi, BMW, Datsun-Nissan, Honda, Isuzu, Jaguar, Porsche, Toyota, Subaru, VW air and water cooled, Volvo, etc.

All pages are clear to read and in overall nice shape.

These Service Trade Edition Manuals were very expensive when new and the Import Editions were the most expensive.

Councils urged to shun yellow lines

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

COUNCILS are being asked to cut unsightly yellow lines as part of a Government drive to rid the streets of clutter. Local Transport Minister Norman Baker has urged local authorities to think about using restricted parking zones, instead of automatically opting to use yellow lines to control parking, particularly in single streets and environmentally-sensitive areas in towns and cities. Restricted parking zones require a limited number of signs which tell motorists if they can or can not park and during which times and are considered less intrusive than conventional yellow lines.
