The highly anticipated and long awaited MotoTec Wheel man Version 2 is finally here! Through state-of-the-art design and manufacturing techniques, the new generation of Wheelman have taken a technological leap forward! Now available in Gas and Electric versions.

What is the Wheel man?

The Wheel man is a center mounted engine and frame vehicle, supported at each end by a spokeless wheel into which your feet can be inserted while standing upright. The Wheelman has a 50cc 2-stroke engine which takes a mix of gas and oil just like a weed whacker. It holds one liter of fuel and will give you a run time of over one hour or 30 miles and speeds up to 25 MPH. The Wheelman is also known as:  Bushpig, G-Wheel, Xcite Bike and G-Motion. It was named one of Time Magazine's "Best Inventions of the Year in November, 2002" The Wheelman has also been featured on television shows like: The NBC Today Show, Ripleys Believe It Or Not, Livin Large and X-Corps TV.

How does it work?

The learning curve of a Wheelman is very similar to skate/snow/surf board riding. And if you have any experience in these you will be surprised on how fast you pick it up. At speed you use body movement to steer and at low speed (and you can ride a Wheelman at an extremely slow pace) you can angle the front wheel from side to side with your foot. The speed is controlled by a cable type controller held in your hand, the more you squeeze, the more fun you have! To slow down, simply let off of the throttle for a slow smooth deceleration. To stop quickly, simply pull the brake lever on the hand held control.

Tearing up the grass, sliding in the dirt, cruising the beach, that's the Wheelman life! Don't be the last on your block to own one!

The new Mercedes AMG GT gets teased on video. Mercedes effective replacement for the SLS – the Mercedes AMG GT – is due to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show later this year, but Mercedes has already started the slow reveal of the AMG GT with photos of the interior last month. Pitched a bit further down the supercar ladder than the SLS, the AMG Gt is aiming to take on cars like the Porsche 911 and deliver a car that Mercedes hope will be the benchmark in its class.

This is the Koengisegg One:1, and it may well need a team of lion-tamers to restrain it from leaping clean off its Geneva motor show stand and picking a fight with the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918. You’re looking at, according to Koenigsegg, the new fastest road car in the world.

Range Rover turns 40 +video

Tue, 01 Jun 2010

The Range Rover at 40 Whatever you may think of the Range Rover, it is a motoring icon. Iconic is bandied around at the drop of a hat these days, but the original Range Rover really was a game-changer. For the first time there was a vehicle that was just as good on road as off and pretty much single handedly started the luxury SUV craze which – despite the naysayers and eco-mentalists – shows no real sign of abating.
