Up for sale:  Used set of forks from a 1980 MOTRON moped. In good working order . Forks are straight, not bent. The head stem threads are nice, not stripped.   These forks come with headstem bearings. They also come with the bearing races or cups, but NOT THE ONES THAT FIT INTO THE FRAME. They also come with the handlebar clamps and top headstem nut. The paint on the forks are scratched and scuffed as would be expect of a 30 year used part. The upper fork that would originally had been chrome, has been painted black. Also come with the head light brackets that slide over the upper fork tubes. Black rubber fork boots are dirty, but not ripped. All parts are in good usable condition.  Listed with a low buy now price.  Please look closely at the pictures above.   Thanks    for    looking!!

Fuel prices 'rising again'

THE AUTUMN dip in petrol prices failed to stimulate sales and the cost of filling up is rising again, according to the AA. Drivers in small market and coastal towns are particularly suffering from high prices, with the dearest petrol found in East Anglia and Wales, the AA said. It added that between mid November and mid December, the average UK price of petrol rose from 130.44p a litre to 131.17p, while diesel increased from 137.78p to 138.61p.

VAUXHALL’S stylish baby car has appeared in a more performance-oriented form at the Geneva Motor Show. The Adam S uses the familiar 1.4-litre engine already seen in the standard Adam but here it comes in turbocharged form to release 148bhp and 162lb.ft of torque, significantly more than the current most powerful Adam model. As with other sporty Vauxhall models the Adam S has chassis upgrades including bigger wheels and tyres, stiffened and lowered suspension and high specification brakes.
