New Volvo V40: The Pedestrian saver +video
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Volvo V40 Pedestrian Airbag Apart from great looks and lots of promise the new Volvo V40 offers lots of safety features, including a pedestrian air bag. Of all the mainstream cars we’ve revealed in the last few weeks as the hullabaloo of Geneva ensued, the new Volvo V40 has garnered more readers than any other, which surely augers well for the new V40′s prospects. That’s exactly the same deal Fiat offers on the 500 Pop – a car that cost under £10k in the UK – making the 500e the first EV we’ve come across where costs are sensible.

Bertone says the car's surface language is representative of the brand's future identity, whilst the low, angular silhouette is an echo of the wedge shaped cars that helped define the design house.
